Dr Andreas C. Kritiotis is a passionate diver and amateur underwater photographer. He has clocked up bottom time in the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean (Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius), the Red Sea and the Caribbean. In 2019 he was involved in the discovery of an ancient shipwreck off Protaras, Cyprus, dating back to the Roman times. Above the surface he enjoys sailing and was a crew member of the Kyrenia-Liberty, a replica of the ancient Ship of Kyrenia, that sailed to Greece on the occasion of the 2004 Athens Olympics.
