Canon 7D
My trusty Canon 20D has served me well for hundreds of photo dives, but I recently decided to move on and replace my entire gear. My new camera is a 18.0 megapixel Canon 7D digital SLR. I vacillated for a long time between this and the full-frame 5D, but eventually opted for the 7D because of its built-in flash; this allows me to connect my strobes with optical fibre cables instead of electrical connectors.

Sigma 17-70mmCanon 100mm

My new lenses are a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM for wide-angle and a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 for macro work.

Nauticam NA-7D
The housing is a Nauticam NA-7D, which I find wonderfully ergonomic. Thanks to internal levers and gears, you have most of the camera's controls truly at your fingertips.

As for lens ports, I have chosen Nauticam's 8.5" Fisheye port for the Sigma and the Macro port 87 for the Canon lens.

Inon Z-240 Type 4Inon LE250
A pair of Inon Z-240 Type 4 strobes on 5x8" ULCS arms complete the set, together with an Inon LE250 LED focus light.

My old set (Canon 20D with two lenses, Ikelite housing, 4 lens ports, DS-125 strobe) is for sale. Please see here.
